Liner Fabrics are woven out of synthetic yarn such as Polypropylene, Polyester, Polyethylene, Spun Yarn and Nylon, which are processed with a finishing treatment to suit the customer's end use requirement.
The Liner Fabrics are used in conjunction with the processing machinery to facilitate the handling of rubber and rubberized fabric, in the assembly & building of tires. Liners are back up materials used primarily to wind and store any rubber coated component like tire cord fabric, both textile and steel and also 100% rubber components like cap, sidewall etc. Liners prevent sticking of the rubber-coated components in different layers and also help in easy release during the subsequent usage. They are not used as a reinforcement themselves but as a recyclable auxiliary processing aid.
Depending upon the material and type of treatment given to a Liner, it offers easy release of the rubber coated material, prevents distortion in dimensions of the wound components and also helps in tack retention of the same. It also protects the calendared fabrics from many harmful effects such as humidification, direct sunlight and ozone.
We offer Liners in weight ranges from 120 gsm to 600 gsm and width ranges from 18 cms to 160 cms.
Our woven fabric comes with two types of selvedge- "Fringe Selvedge" or "Cut and Heat sealed Selvedge" (zero tolerance on width)
Our liners have good breaking strength and dimensional stability;
When handled carefully, our liners are durable and recyclable several times.
